Switching from business to medicine brings us up-to-date on two of the '45 physicians. Harry Durkin is in the private practice of child psychiatry in Boston, devoting part of his time to teaching at Tufts Medical School and the New England Medical Center. At the present time he is working on a mental health bill before the Massachusetts State Legislature - trust that our new '45 legislator, Mo Frye, is of help to you, Harry!! Harry has four children and resides in Norfolk, Mass. Frank Bousquet stays more than busy with his practice (along with two partners) of ophthalmology in Savannah, Ga. He recently returned from a jaunt to the Bahamas where skin diving was the main activity. Frank reports four children, the eldest being sixteen and having desires toward Dartmouth.
Frank Wilcox has been elected trustee of Lawrence Academy, Groton, Mass. Frank, a practicing attorney in Framingham, Mass., also spreads his talents throughout civic affairs, being trustee of the Framingham Union Hospital, chairman of the Framingham chapter of the American Red Cross and president of the Framingham-Ashland United Fund.
Win Sargeant has been elected Secretary of the Polymer Corporation of Reading, Pa., after being in that firm's employ only one year. Win, who is also director of personnel, joined Polymer in April 1965 after six years with the Beryllium Corporation, having been manager of industrial relations since 1961. Win's civic activities include membership on the Mt. Penn Borough Council and the presidency of the Mt. Penn Republican League. He is also chairman of the Penn's Pioneer District of the Daniel Boone Council of the Boy Scouts and a member of the board of directors of the Planned Parenthood Center of Berks County.
This is again that time of year!!! MooseRowan and 98 assistant class agents are beating the bushes to raise $22,500 from '45s to put the 1966 Alumni Fund over the top. Dartmouth, if it is to continue to play a leading role in education, needs our realistic financial support. These are times of relative plenty for most of us and our support of the College should reflect this — '45 out!!!, and let's get the job done before the deadline of June 30.
