The annual meeting of the Boston Alumni Association was held at the Copley Plaza, March 7, and was preceded by a joint pow-wow of the classes of '27, '28, '29 and '30. Those present included Jay Willing, Shorty Oliver,Bill Prescott, Don Gardner, Rog Salinger,Larry Scammon, Steve Tracy, Bob Williamson,Charlie Bartlett, Ethan Hitchcock, Tom Anglin, Kern Foulkers, Meek Slotnik, Nibs Dowe,Bob Page and your secretary. Dr. Joe Kelly of Orleans on the Cape was supposed to be there, but unfortunately he didn't show up.

Steve Tracy came down from Nashua, N. H., where he is a busy architect with the firm of Tracy and Hildreth. He is married to Dorothy Lougee and they have two daughters, Barbara, age 15, and Ann, age 11.

Neal Dowe showed that he hadn't lost his musical talents by joining in with the alumni orchestra that played during the dinner.

Bob Page reports that early in February he spent three enjoyable days in Hanover on business. While there he visited with BobFunkhouser, the new Comptroller of the College. Bob is moving his department to another part of Parkhurst Hall. He also made a trip late in February to speak before alumni groups in Dayton, Columbus, Cincinnati, Indianapolis and Youngstown. He was looking forward to seeing Bob Tucker in Columbus, Tom and Wilbur Kennedy in Dayton, Buck McKee at Indianapolis, and Chuck Baker in Painesville, Ohio. Bob Funkhouser has three girls, Patsy, 13, Gretchen, 10, and Deborah, 5 1/2.

Bob Page also learned that Steve Osborn was in Hanover from St. Paul, Minn., for the Alumni Council meeting in January. Steve is vice president and a director of Economic Laboratories, Inc., large soap manufacturers in St. Paul. His son, Tom, is now in Hanover in the Class of '54 and his other son Merritt, reputed to be our class baby, graduated with the Class of 1950. Bob Page who is living in Needham and running his own business in Boston as an industrial insurance consultant, has a daughter Bonnie, age 8, and one son Robert 61/,.

Other visitors to the Inn during February were Mr. and Mrs. Gus Cummings, who chaperoned the Carnival, and Jim Chandler from Cleveland.

Paul O'Connell among his many other duties is a director of the University Club of Worcester.

Phil Fowler is currently on another trip to Texas on business.

Elmer Worth is now Guidance Director at the New London Junior College and lives in Groton, Conn. Johnnie Wood is still practicing law with the firm of Wood and Wood in Gloversville, N. Y. Johnnie has three young- sters, Ellen age 15, Lois 13 and Jeremiah 12.

George Woelfel is still working for Interna- tional Shoe Company and lives in Alton, 111. Allan Wise lives in Hartford, Conn., and is a teacher at the Loomis School. Vern Whitney is still living in Walla Walla, Washington, where he is Sales Manager for Walla Walla Canning Company. Vern and his wife have two youngsters, Eleanor, 13, and Roger, 9. We have heard nothing from Tom Wheeler since he retired from the Navy at the end of World War II, but assume he is still running his farm out in Troy, Ohio. Tom and his wife have two children, Thomas, 17, and Ellen, 14.

Frank Wetmore is busily occupied running the George W. Pickering Cos. in Salem, Mass. Bud Wesselmann since 1927 has been with the New York Life Insurance Company and has been manager of one of their offices since 1937. He is now living in Shaker Heights, Ohio. Bud and his wife Dorothy have two sons, Glen, 19, and Lee, 15.

Al Welty lives with his wife and two sons in Larchmont, N. Y. He is a branch manager for National City Bank and his boys, Alan and Richard, are 17 and u.

Carl Weiss is busily practicing medicine in Lawrence, Mass., where he has been since 1932. Ed IVatkins is President of Watkins and Fordham, Inc., investment bankers in Detroit. He and his wife Frances have one son Fred who is 15.

Bill Ward lives in Nutley, N. J., and is personnel supervisor for Western Electric Company. He has one son, William E. 3rd, aged 17. How about some news from you guys?
