Only a month to go before that big 25th reunion. It looks now as though we are going to have a record attendance which assures us a wonderful reunion. We sincerely hope you are planning to be there. On March 27 we journey over to New York to attend the class dinner at the Dartmouth Club at which some 29 members were present, including Red Cleaveland, Rudy Preuss, GuyBostwick, Josh Davis, Norm, Page, Reg Vm.cent, Seth Besse, Bill Williams, Stu Ensinger,Joe Creamer, Fritz Kortlucke, Art Kelleher,Sid Voice, Sam Wormser, Don McCall, RogBury, Roy Dreher, Howie Mullin, BobStevens, Ken Meyercord, Ros Nichols, TomHession, Joe Russakoff, Lee Greenebaum, GusCummings, Al Walty, John Greener and TomGillespie•. Only one of this group indicated he would be unable to attend the reunion. All others are planning to be there.

Howie Mullin came up from Washington, D. C., where he has been for the past several months working for the Government on loan from his Company, Carnegie Steel.

From the Stoneham (Mass.) Independent we learn that Larry Scammon was recently appointed as a member of the high school building committee. Larry was formerly a member of the high school survey committee of that town and is an Actuary with the Massachusetts Auto Rating and Inspection Bureau. His out-of-town activities have included presidency of the Parent-Teachers Association.

Eddie Redcay has recently been appointed acting president of the State University Teachers College in Plattsburg, N. Y. Since 1948 he has been Dean of the Plattsburg institution. He holds degrees from Yale and Columbia University. Before becoming head of the education department at Plattsburg in 1936, he taught at the Roxbury School and at Dartmouth and was a research associate for the Jeanes Foundation.

Visitors at the Inn during March included Larry Duncan of Concord; Dr. and Mrs. William Browning of Bennington, Vt.; CharlesBartlett of Dedham; and Mr. and Mrs. HalKoerner of Rochester.

We should have mentioned above that AlWelty, John Greener and Tom Gillespie were late arrivals at the class dinner in New York because they are still active members of the University Glee Club of that city who had a meeting that evening. They arrived in good voice, however, and gave us some fine harmonizing.

F. Lee Coulter '52, son of Frank Coulter, has recently been appointed as an undergraduate member of the public relations committee of the Alumni Council.

Mart Heifer and his wife are planning to attend the 25th, which will be their first reunion. Mart has been in educational work ever since getting out of College and has heretofore had duties in connection with his school work which prevented being away at reunion time, but this year they are definitely arranging to be in Hanover. Mart and his wife have five sons, one of whom has graduated from Dartmouth, and a second who is now an undergraduate.

Jack Wilson has recently been recalled to active duty as a Lt. Col. in the Army. His present address is. Lt. Col. John Wilson Jr., 0-33868, Island Defense Force, A.P.O. 81, c/o Postmaster, New York City. Jack had a very fine record during World War 11, having gone all through the European Theater Operations and being awarded the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star, Army Commendation, the French Legion of Honor, French Croix de Guerre and Luxembourg Croix de Guerre. He had five battle stars and all the theater ribbons. Since 1946 he has devoted at least half his time as a student at the Command and General Staff College and as an instructor in those subjects at the Army schools. The balance of time he has written short stories for well known magazines and worked at his farm in Hope, Me.

Kermit Ingham is still operating his lumber company down in Stillwater, Okla., dealing in all types of building supplies. He and his wife Louise have three youngsters, Kermit, who is in the class of '52 at Dartmouth; Nancy Ann, a senior in high school; and Richard, age 14. He is now President of the Southwestern Hardware Company, a past president and still active member of the Southwestern Lumbermen's Association, has been on the school board, member of the Chamber of Commerce, Retailers Association and Rotary Club. His hobbies are golf and square dancing. Kermit, with his wife and daughter, will be present at the reunion.

Merritt Joslyn is a general insurance broker in Hinsdale, 111. He and his wife have one son, Merritt Jr., born a year and a half ago. Merritt continues his interest in golf and has won two club championships at the LaGrange Country Club. Other hobbies are photography, chess and magic.

Don Kinney is President and Manager of the Kinney Loan and Finance Company in Gree ley, Colo. He and his wife Ruth have one son, age 21, and two daughters. Their son Bill was an all-conference end at Greeley High School and presently is in the Navy. Don spent the first ten years out of college working for General Motors Acceptance Corporation before starting at his own business. He has been very active in trade organizations and in Boy Scout work. He has served two years as a senior board member and is currently vice president. Was Chairman of three bond drives during the war and is presently chairman of the Red Cross drive for his community. Don's hobbies are reading and sports and he sincerely hopes to be back at the 25th reunion.

There is still time to make your room reservation in Hanover. We all hope to see you there for a grand and glorious reunion.
