Only two direct communications received this month one, an appeal from Dewey to send in six bucks for class dues, and we hope for many reasons that each of you was moved, as we were, to prompt acquiescence and financial penmanship by the simple eloquence of this classic! The other from none other than that distinguished professor of sociology and Chairman of this Class, Dr. George F. Theriault, who transmits a note from Dr. CharlesB. Hinds Jr. (how these doctors do stick together!) to the effect that, after some 17 years in Worcester, Charlie and his family (wife, four children, two dogs and three birds) were hitting the old covered wagon trail for Bend, Ore., where he will practice anesthesiology at St. Charles Memorial Hospital. George also sent two intensely interesting articles from the San Francisco Chronicle of June 11 and 12, by-lined Paine Knickerbocker, and reporting the problems, achievements and dreams of Israel as seen and felt by a San Francisco delegation which visited the new state earlier this year. We'd be happy to hear more, Paine, about newspaper work on the West Coast.
In spite of the paucity of mail in our pouch, we have gleaned some kernels of general and particular interest mostly concerned, now that the National Sweepstakes is roaring into the stretch, with changes of voting address for some of our more restless brethren. Which reminds us if any member of this class able to walk, run, drive, crawl, hobble or roll does not get himself and his family registered and voted this year, let him henceforth be known as an Idiot! (Gr. idiotes "one who cannot vote"; Am. you heard me!)
William F. Atwood, maker and designer of furniture, refinisher of antiques and still owner-superintendent of "Yankee Craftsmen," lives at the Y.M.C.A., Hammond St., Bangor, Me. We are sure Bill would be delighted to send his catalogue to any auction hounds among you.

Richard E. Ryan, last reported as manager of Franklin Life Insurance Co. at San Jose, is now commercial manager of radio station K.LOK there and resides at 723 Ridgeley Drive, Campbell, Calif. Is it true there are fewer headaches in radio than in life insurance, Dick?
Mahonri S. Young lives in Utica at 62 Prospect St. and is now museum director of Munson-Williams-Proctor Institute there. Bill, tell us more about the Institute and the museum. We yearn to learn.
Walter Watson's new address is reported as Winthrop Drive, Riverside, Conn. Does this mean, Wally, that you are no longer with Grand'mere? (ed. note: a knitting mill in Montreal and not an aged relative).
Back to the medicos Gerry Krosnick, an obstetrician and gynecologist of New Haven and Ansonia, now treats the ladies at 93 Diamond St. New Haven, Conn., while JohnnyDavidson, still practicing urology in Spring- field, 0., makes his collections at 14½ N. Limestone St. and untangles his two children at 650 S. Tanglewood Drive.
You will be glad to know that Bill Lang, whose work with some small foundry was previously reported, speedily staked out a new location and can now be found signing dividend checks at 71 Broadway, N.Y.C., between 9:00 and 4:30 and during the play hours will most likely be at 10 Delbarton Drive, Short Hills, N. J.
Leslie M. Huntley can reached c/o O. F. Achtenhagen, 2290 Roanoke Rd„ San Marino, Calif., and until Les informs us to the contrary we assume he is still with Polychrome Pacific Corp. in San Francisco.
We know H. Hamilton Slechta is still with the N. Y. State Department of Labor where he interviews in regard to employment security at 31-33 W. Main St., Patchogue, N. Y., and then commutes to his home at 3 Smyth Court, Bellport, N. Y.
Jim McFarland, still with General Mills, has made the hop from Great Falls, Mont., to the home office in Minneapolis where he lives at 5003 Bruce Ave., Minneapolis 10, Minn. Jim has something to do with advertising, but we don't know whether he interviews champions or crayons four different pictures of Lone Ranger riding Tonto. Suggest John Faegre send in his box tops, find out and report.
Rev. Theodore V. Purcell, S. J., received his Ph.D. from Harvard this year and has returned to Loyola University, Chicago 26, 111., to teach in the department of psychology. Congratulations, Ted. Even though time has cloaked you in awesome degrees and clerical habiliments, our freshman year in Streeter seems only a short space back. How about a detailed report on your intervening activities?
In the line of interesting addresses, that of artist Gobin Stair, Burchard Lane, Rowayton, Conn., vies with Jim Petrie's at Kellogg International Corp. (petroleum not cereals), Stone House, Bishopsgate, London, E.C.2, England.
Jack C. Loose does something about, for, to or with insurance at 205 Church St. and lives at 488 Whitney Ave. in New Haven. Tell us more, Jack, about that general word "insurance" which we can't afford as much o£ as we'd like and can't afford to be without.
Jack Brooke, Eastern TV sales manager for Free & Peters, Inc., has moved from Yonkers to Montrose, N. Y.
We don't know whether Childs still serve the best flapjacks in the world but would suggest that when you're in Boston you go to 240 Boylston St. and ask Robert G. Freeman, who is the manager there. Bob still lives in Winthrop at 620 Shirley Street. For the New Yorkers interested in eating, see BobCarr who can be found at Howard Johnson's Inc., 101 E. 134th St. and who lives at 24 Adams Place, S. Weymouth 90, Mass. Don't know what Bob does, and you may find yourself in business running a new H. J., but it's worth a try.
Al Beekman practices law in Red Bank and lives at 33 Rumson Road, Little Silver, N. J. What's the history of the cute name of that place, Al? Creek? Lone Ranger's pony? Not much dough?
There's talk of a class executive committee meeting in Hanover for sometime this month. If it comes off, this column will be in a position to scoop the trade in reporting to you the decisions reached. Stay tuned breathlessly to this station, and we'll be back with you a month from now.
