With summer past and winter not too far off, the Association looks back on a number of successful get-togethers and forward to an even bigger and better program in which it is hoped that every member will take an active interest. The special luncheon held in June for the entering class filled the room at the University Club to an overflow. PeteReich '53, football captain, and Pete Mackinnon '53, baseball captain, were on hand to speak to the new freshmen, their fathers, and alumni. Louis Leverone's annual stag party at his farm near Half Day was favored with a beautiful summer day and all the delicious hamburgs and sweet corn each man could stow away after an afternoon of baseball and brew right from the keg. EdChamberlain '36 gave us an interesting talk on affairs in Hanover at a regular Monday luncheon in September. Dartmouth night on October 17 was celebrated with a cocktail party at the University Club.

Your Association has plans under way for a full and gala Hanover Holiday program in January. President Dickey is planning to be here for the occasion; as well as several interesting speakers for our traditional gathering in the afternoon. There have been a number of requests to add a dance at night. We hope all members will mark their calendars for Monday, December 29, when the new Dean, Joseph L. McDonald, will make a special trip to Chicago to meet and talk with Association members at the regular Monday luncheon.
