Frank Pelton of Miami writes, "When Gustin passed on I lost the classmate I knew best in College days. Freshman year he and Dascomb roomed at 'Marm' Swett's on College Street. I saw much of them and Johnny Watson Frank pays personal tribute to "Shorty"Bowers.

A letter from Fred Morrill's daughter Dorothy (Mrs. Paul A.) Ross tells how well and active her mother is and how greatly she enjoyed attending the graduating exercises at the U. S. Merchant Marine Academy, King's Point, N. Y., and seeing her grandson David M. Ross receive his commission. Also, she was able to attend David's wedding a few days later at the Academy's chapel.
