The Boston Association sponsored two events during the past month. A Dartmouth-Harvard pre-game dance sponsored jointly with the Harvard Club of Boston at their club house on Commonwealth Avenue in Boston was held on Friday, October 24. A large turnout had a convivial, and friendly time. All who attended hope that this event can be continued in further years. The success of the operation, certainly justifies it and a vote of thanks to the Harvard Club of Boston for the use of their premises is in order.

An informal picnic before the Harvard game was held in front of the baseball stands. Unfortunately the weather (a "northeaster driving rain) combined with highway construction to preclude the possibility of a large turnout. A few hardy souls ventured forth and the Dartmouth band put in an appearance. In another year when the road construction is completed, a larger attendance is anticipated.

After serious reflection, the executive committee of the Association voted that the annual dinner of 1959 which is to be held January 21, 1959, at the Hotel Statler, shall for the first time be a "mixed" affair. Plan to save the evening and initiate your wives to the dinners-meeting. An excellent program is being planned.
