Mrs. Arthur Arnold, who plans to make her permanent home at the DeVoe Apartments, St. Petersburg, seems to have completely recovered from her setback of last fall and early winter. She plans to spend a part of the summer at Buck Hill Inn in the Pocono Mountains in Pennsylvania, and with her daughter and family at Rochester, N. Y.
A letter from Mrs. Harlan Pearson of Concord, N. H. tells of the birth of her greatgrandson at Madras, India, where his father John Pearson Spaulding is Vice-Consul. Mrs. Pearson also writes that her oldest grandson William E. Spaulding Jr. was married at Christmas time to a lovely Pasadena girl, Barbara Alice George, and that they are making their home at Long Beach, Calif.
A very interesting letter from Dr. "Billy"Redenbaugh tells of the terrible winter they were having at Las Vegas, Nev. "First snow in six years and the worst storms on record Only 12 inches of snow in the city but deep snow all around; roads and highways impassable; the papers have not exaggerated conditions at all." For us in Florida, where a balmy winter occurred, it is hard to visualize conditions as "Billy" described them.
