The first of January Steve Cushing was appointed an associate justice of the Vermont Supreme Court by Gov. Lee E. Emerson. From 1932 to 1938 Steve served as chairman of the State Public Service Commission. He then became a Superior Court Judge and in 1949 was appointed Chief Superior Judge.
George Swasey has sold his home in Orlando, Fla., and hereafter his permanent address will be 18 Summer St., Bristol, N. H.
A note from Helen Whittemore advises that Harvey has been laid up since November 19 with a sacro-iliac strain. Is much improved but doesn't know enough to "be his age." ,
A letter from Roy Denison advises that ArtChapin's description of the football game (if it could be called that) between the Dartmouth Wogglebugs and the Woodstock Wildcats was a fairly accurate one as he played center on the team. The one thing he doesn't remember is whether or not his injuries required the attention of Doc Redlon.
The twenty-third annual presentation of Handel's The Messiah was held in the Concord, N. H., Civic Auditorium the last of December with a chorus of 80 voices and the Concord Orchestral Club. The entire production was under the direction of Herb Rainie, who has conducted the oratorio each year since it was first presented in 1929.
By the time you read this you will have received the questionnaire asking you for information for the roster which is being prepared for our 45th reunion. If you haven't sent it back, please do so at once as we want to mail it out so you will have it before you leave for Hanover.
