A letter from Cap Pierce includes a suggestion which, if followed out, would be a great help to your secretary. As you all know the 1906 notes are not very interesting because of the scarcity of news items. This is, as Cap says, because our members are so modest they will'not send personal items to the secretary.
Cap suggests that any member who knows an interesting item about a classmate should drop me a line and it sure would be appreciated. So please, everybody, join the "share-the-news" program. .
Evidently California is renewing the youth of Abbie and Cap because in September they took and passed the driver license test.

Ray Herman died in Chicago on September 20 leaving his wife Carolyn and three sons.
At the pre-Harvard dinner held at the Algonquin Club in Boston, Friday night October 24, the following 1906 men were present: Chapin, Cooke, Cromwell, Demson, Dwyer, Ned French, Hartmann, Leverone, Page, Powers, Rainie, Russell, Wallace, Harvey Whittemore and Laurence Whittemore. Oliver Cromwell's son-in-law Dr. Hill was also present as well as five members of the class of 1905. Walt Powers presided and did his usual good job of story telling.
Joe Cushing has closed his house on the Cape and is back at 63 Garfield St., Springfield 8, Mass.
