Through Donald Davis, who is living here at the Club, I learn that Shorty has arrived safely in Florida but had to enter the hospital a few days later for a minor ailment. In spite of his disability, however, I understand he is still able to pick the winning horses.
Emily and Bill McGrail are also in Florida for their annual sojourn. Now that Bill hasn't any apples to pick, I wonder how he will occupy his time.
Charlie Luck writes that he is leaving Detroit for a six months' trip along the West Coast. Undoubtedly he will be in touch with all of you '06 Westerners.

The Fiftieth Reunion Fund Committee appreciates the many gifts, large and small, which have already been donated, but a much larger number of contributions would be most welcome. If a sizable sum is to be realized, it is most necessary that a majority of the members contribute some amount regularly every year for the next nine years.
