The annual dinner meeting of the Dartmouth Club of the Mohawk Valley was held April 1 at the Fort Schuyler Club, Utica, N. Y. Better than 50 per cent of our membership attended. Guests of honor at our sixth annual meeting, and the people largely responsible for the large attendance, were our speakers, Dean Morse and Bob Allen '45.
Following dinner a short business meeting was held and the following slate of new officers was presented and passed on by a unanimous vote: William Calli '45, president; Hyzer JonesJr. '41, first vice president; A. Buol Hinman '46, second vice president; Gilbert Jones '45, secretary; and Joseph Kyser '32, treasurer. The members also signed a note to Charlie DeAngelis '08, who has been sick for nearly, two months, expressing their regret that they would be unable to hear Charlie's annual speech on why the Class of '08 was the greatest thing that ever happened to Dartmouth.
O JL JL Dean Morse did a fine job in briefing us on the highlights of college activity. His informal talk covered a great deal of ground—from his experiences as Dean of Freshmen to the record snowfall that came to Hanover this winter. His remarks were encouraging and it was a pleasure to have him with us. Having just completed a course in slide projection, Bob Allen proved himself a capable narrator and projectionist, showing some fine slides of Hanover scenes and personalities. Thus did a very successful meeting come to a close.
