The Season Special: The Glee Club was never in better form. The Injunaires were never more delightful. The gals never looked quite so lovely, nor the gents so resplendent. Alvy "Sweetest Music This Side of White River" West and his sentimental gentlemen never whooped it up quite so danceably. All this, of course, refers to the gala evening at the City Center on the not-to-be-forgotten evening of April 5, when hundreds of Green alumni from Manhattan, Long Island, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Westchester packed the ballroom for the concert and formal dance which officially ushered in the spring season. A list of those present would sound like a Who's Who of Dartmouth grads in this area; suffice it to say that the few who missed it missed the time of their lives. All sorts of kudos are due to Al "Perle was a Piker" Dingwall '42 and his potent entertainment committee; to Jim McKeon, Lorraine Stanley, and the host of others who promoted such a great affair.

Squash Wind-Up: Dick Remsen Jr. '42, teaming with Germaine Glidden of Harvard, walked off the courts of the Greenwich Country Club with the National Squash Racquets doubles championship last month. Many congratulations, Dick. Jack Kjerner '26, meanwhile, reached the semi-finals of the Dartmouth-Princeton-Brown Handicap Tournament, before bowing in five bitter sets to the Number a seeded player. A satisfied smile wreathed the face of Green captain Ort "IronMike" Hicks '21 before his departure for Europe. In his absence, an intra-club handicap tournament has been devised, to separate the men from the boys with a view to next year's tourneys.

Those You Know: Receiving wah-hoo-wahs for his recent promotion to V.P. of the ad firm of Albert, Frank, Gunther and Law is FrankHall '41. His classmate, Howie Wilson '41, is finding his excitement as a navigator with the Navy's transportation service.

Seen occasionally, but never often enough, is former Club prexy John Moore '23, now sales manager with Monroe Calculating Machine.

Wedding plans for September, recently announced, include Bob Moore '51 and Anne Piatt, of Northfield, Mass. Nice knowin ya. Bob.

Recent visitors to the Club include DanMatthews '25 and Tom Gillaugh '46, treking in from Manchester, N. H., and Dayton, Ohio, respectively.

Birthday greetings also to the 39th Street location of the Club. It was ten—count 'em, ten—years ago, April 1, that we moved in. Of the current crop of some 1500 members, 350 residents and 112 non-residents have retained their membership since that memorable date. Drop in any time, and find out why.
