February 21 and 22. Those are the big dates, Saturday and Sunday. This year, there will be but one Sno-bird dinner and that will be Saturday night. With the number of sons in College cut to five, the Father-Sons' dinner is being combined with the Sno-bird dinner, which from many points of view is far better.

As this is being written, new reservations are coming in at The Inn, and it looks like another successful Sno-bird party. As you read this, if you have not already made your decision, it is not too late. Do it now, preferably by telephone, and some accommodation will be found for you. The class is getting older and for many of us there will not be too many more get-togethers. Let us take advantage of every one.

I understand that Remsen failed us utterly in producing venison, so once more we will have to rely on Sisson, and he never fails. This year should be shorter, snappier and less expensive.

And while up in New Hampshire, a quick trip to Berlin finds that Caleb and Grace Niles are not only still running the School Department, but the second generation is doing its best to keep Caleb in a job. He reports five grandchildren, three boys and two girls. I do wish that Caleb and Grace would come to one of these Sno-birds. It has been a long time.

Chet and Eve Wescott are back in West Palm Beach for the winter. They have a cottage at 22514 29th St., and are enjoying the Florida sunshine to its fullest. They would welcome any '14ers who may be in the area, and that goes for next summer when they will be back at Bar Harbor. This is Chet's thirtieth winter in Florida. He should speak with an accent by this time.

From Holyoke Ted Main writes that his usual foursome had their annual weekend at Hanover, the Columbia weekend. In addition to Art Woodies, one of the foursome, RufeSisson, unexpectedly showed up Saturday forenoon but left directly following the game. Larry and Marjorie Nichols appeared at The Inn for dinner Saturday night. "We all had a marvelous weekend and, of course, a perfect football game added to it. Among my pleasures was to register three grandsons as follows: Richard Saxton Main, class of 1970; Theodore Main 11, class of 1973; and Frederic Hall Beij, class of 1973." Nice to hear from Ted and Marion.

Bob Noble is living in Bethel, Vt., and PaulSmith is on his annual trip to Clearwater, Fla., where he may be reached at 120 Frederica Drive.

String Howe, who was christened Paul, in Cohasset, Mass., some 60-odd years ago, is now living in Gibsonia, Pa., R.D. 3, Box 198. He is branch manager for Pittsburgh for Sperti Faraday Inc., "with whom he has been for four years. Apparently the goats are growing old, or at least becoming more staid in their habits, for they made the trip to Gibsonia in none other than a common truck, whereas their previous travelling has always been by air-line. Probably the hostesses did not give the attention to them they felt they warranted. String can also be reached at his office, 431 Wabash Bldg., 400 Liberty Ave., Pittsburgh 22, Pa.

Just a brief word from Charlie Batchelder, from Berkeley, Calif., was omitted last month in error. Hugh MacKinnon is on sabbatical leave from his duties as assistant professor of music at the University of Wyoming. Just what he is doing we do not know, and would appreciate more detail. How about it, Mac?

A couple of months ago we featured a picture of Bino Knight with the announcement that he was to preach at the Cathedral of the Pines. Bino very modestly informed us that he was quite surprised to .see his picture in the MAGAZINE. What faith that man has! Did anyone ever believe that a class secretary could be trusted? In return for that modesty, a word about Bino might not be amiss, as he was recently one of the speakers at the annual meeting of the Vermont Church Council, held in Montpelier, November 9, at Vermont Junior College. Dr. Knight is Field Director of the Presbyterian Church, U. S. A., for the Synod of New England, having responsibilities in the field of National Mission, as well as promoting the Educational Program of the Churches. During his period of service in New England, 15 years, a number of new churches have been organized and many previously receiving aid have become self-supporting. He is currently a member of the faculties at Yale Divinity School and Andover-Newton Theological Institution.

Bino is a member of the Committee on Chaplains and Service Personnel and the Department of Ministerial Relations, which deals with vacant churches and the placement of ministers for the Presbyterian Church, U.S.A. He is active in the Councils of the Church, in New Church Development and Church Extension. During his chairmanship, the move started for the present Capital Funds Drive for 12 million dollars, which to date has been more than half subscribed. He is a member of the executive committee of each of the six Councils of Churches in New England and of the Department of Comity and Church Strategy, and of the long-range Strategy Committee of the Massachusetts Council of Churches. Sorry, Bino! But this will be too interesting to the class, methinks, to consider your modesty.

Your secretary is rather proud of the fact that he is completing his sixth term of three years each as a member of the Weymouth School Committee and is currently its chairman. During the 18 years the town and the school population has more than doubled, and the department is now in the midst of one of the largest school building programs in Massachusetts. He is a member of each building committee, and if any of you have wondered why the secretary has so suddenly ceased writing letters, you now have the answer. I apologize to all of you, but frankly just have not had the time this year. Will try to do better but can't see any prospects before the first of March.

First Class mail addressed to William A.Stratton has been returned from 47 Hampstead Rd., Jamaica Plain, Mass., his last known home address. The last we knew of Bill, 1942, he was with the Office of Price Administration in Boston. Can anyone help to locate him? If so please let me know at once.

Secretary, 88 Sea St., N. Weymouth 91, Mass. Treasurer, 165 Marlboro St., Wollaston, Mass.
