March is going to be an important month for the Northern New Jersey Alumni Association.

Thursday evening, March 5, has been reserved for our annual dinner meeting. We are particularly happy to announce that our guest speaker for this affair will be Dean McDonald. Our organization is looking forward to introducing the new Dean to our area and we are anxious to have a large attendance to meet and hear the man who holds a position so vital to the College and its functions.

Saturday evening, March 28, is another date for which many Dartmouth men will be eagerly waiting. At this time we will once again present, in Montclair, the Dartmouth College Glee Club. Those of you who heard them last year will want to hear them again, and those who missed last year's performance will have another chance to see this wonderful group. Our Glee Club's unusual combination of excellent music and good fun is always a welcome treat to its audience.

You will be informed of the details of both these events in good time. For those interested, who are not on our mailing list, please drop the Secretary a note and you will be given all the necessary information.

Our enrollment program is progressing nicely. We received an encouraging letter from Sid Hayward who complimented our Association on its progress and success in attracting and holding for Dartmouth more of the better secondary students in our area.

We want to thank the alumni of Northern New Jersey who are showing a greater interest in our Association than ever before. Your support in attending meetings, paying dues, and serving on committees is showing positive results in a stronger organization and in a successful program for getting the better schoolboys interested in Dartmouth College.

Secretary, 30 Kilmer Dr., Short Hills, N. J.
