Springfield, Mass.

A most successful opening to the holiday season here in Springfield was aided by the Dartmouth College Glee Club concert on the night of December 13. Approximately 600 alumni, friends of the College, and music lovers attended the very enjoyable event. Presenting a varied program, along with the tunes of the "Injunaires," the Glee Club was considered by all present one of the best ever to appear in this area. George Weston '23 and Russ Chase '50 were co-chairmen and were given an able assist by Warner Sturtevant '18, who headed up the all-important ticket committee.

The interviewing committee, under the direction of Bill Lieson '32 and Fred Pillsbury '40, went into action during the holiday vacation period, interviewing candidates for next year's freshman class.

Plans are now under way for our annual meeting to take place sometime in March. There will be more about this popular event shortly as the program develops.
