A sincere debt of gratitude is certainly owed to Bill Lieson '32 who served as secretary-treasurer of the Club for the past five years. His able and efficient work for the Club will be hard to duplicate.
Due to the rush and confusion of the changeover to the new secretary, a very important item was omitted from last month's notes. Al Gibney '36, immediate past presi- dent, inaugurated the President's Award to be presented each year to the man who, in the opinion of the officers and the executive committee, has done the most for the Club during the previous year. The recipient of this year's award, a copy of Dartmouth in Portrait, was Warner Sturtevant '17, chairman of our publicity committee. Warner has done a wonderful job, not only this previous year, but many years in the past.
Extensive plans are now under way for the third annual "Fun Raising" outing to be held around the middle of May. Red Jensen '39 and his committee are again in charge and rumor has it that this one is going to be bigger and better than ever. Also, a request has been registered for a warm, sunny day, which would be a welcomed change—but more about that at a later date.
