The proposed interim Reunion to be held the week end of July 4 has been cancelled for this year, as not sufficient favorable replies were received. We are hoping that arrangements may be made for a similar affair next year.
At the Boston Alumni Dinner, March 4, nine of the faithful answered the roll call, KBryant, Ned Calderwood, Bill Cheever, ChanCox, George French, Tom McGovern, ArthurSampson, Johnnie Ward and T Wood.
Howard and Gene Hall have had a most enjoyable trip this spring. Their itinerary included St. Louis, New Orleans, and then Pasadena Calif., where they spent some time with son Kim and his family. They returned home via San Francisco, Seattle, Spokane and Chicago. While in San Francisco the Bob Leavens' were visited and a grand time reported and greatly appreciated by the Leavens'. Mrs. Jim McCarten, affectionately known to all as "Roxie," passed away in a hospital in Concord, N. H., March 22. She was always a regular attendant at Reunions with Jim, and her personality and gay spirits will be long remembered.
In the grandfather department, K Bryant announces the birth of his thirteenth grandchild, a granddaughter, born February 23, 1953, and Bo Haskell writes of the arrival of another grandson, December 5, 1932.
Frank Halliday and Rush Netucomb were able to meet together in Florida this winter, and it is said old times and old friends were talked over at great length.
