Eighty-six Dartmouth men and their wives had a wonderful time at the spring dinner-dance-social at the Bellevue Golf Club in Melrose the evening of March 20.
The distribution of attendance was remarkable in that there were members from 25 classes. The leading class, 1938, had but three or four, and the oldest class present, 1910, had two members.
It is difficult to write at length because the schedule was simple: informal eating, dancing, socializing; but everyone seemed, very pleased to be there. The presence of as many women as men was a great help. Many new faces were seen. Rising 60 new names of former Hanoverians have been dug up and contacted by one or more hard (volunteer) workers in each of our half-dozen towns. The mailing list of the Club is now above 150.
If present plans take shape, the Melrose Dartmouth Club will stage a meeting in the fall featuring HOCKEY.
