It is sad to note the death of Harry Burley on August 22. Although as a result of serious accident to his eye and to illness Harry did not graduate with '86, he always thought of it as his class and maintained to the end a vital interest in all its affairs. His passing is an irretrievable loss.

President Newton and the acting secretary have been highly gratified by the splendid performance of the class and class family in the recent Alumni Fund campaign. Thanks to your generosity and cooperation, '86 has been able to retain its leadership over all classes in percentage of contributors to the Fund. This is a remarkable achievement!

Because of ill health, President Newton's present address is Haven House, 408 E. Lyman Ave., Winter Park, Fla. He would greatly appreciate hearing from his many Dartmouth friends.
