R. L. Rickenbaugh '28, President of the Rickenbaugh Cadillac Company, gave a very fine talk on the automobile industry at our regular luncheon meeting at the Navarre the last Friday in October. This talk was received with the greatest enthusiasm and I think this can be attributed largely to the thoughtful manner in which Rick discussed the practical problems of automobile buying that are of interest to everyone.
The following delegates represented this Association at the Dartmouth Regional Conference in Kansas City, November 12 and 13: Everett H. Parker '16, Neil F. Roberts '35, Donald C. McKinlay '37, Hart D. Gilchrist '31, Norris Williamson '26 and Arthur ThadSmith '31. The fine hospitality and excellent program provided by the Kansas City "Heart of America" Alumni Association was very much appreciated. All delegates had a fine time and felt that the conference was a truly constructive one.
We have received a note from Edward S.Davidson '47, whom we recently reported had located in Grand Junction, and he says that he is working there with the United States Geological Survey. It occurs to me that he might be a good one to consult before purchasing any uranium stocks!
The November elections showed that WillF. Nicholson '22 is returned to the Colorado State Senate.
Ferd H. Sabourin '20 reports that he is in the oil business here in Denver as an independent producer, in addition to being a petroleum production consultant.
