Virginia gave birth, and Guy, at home watching "All My Children," missed the whole thing.Guy returned to the labor room, anticipating hours ahead of him, only to find Virginia and his new baby girl. "I tell ya," said Guy, "she really pulled a fast one."

Some classmates confuse me for a cryptographer. Last week, I received a one page note. It read, "The Wedding of Susan Jane Olson '87 and Todd Chapman Pellett '80. August 31, 1991—Omaha, Nebraska. No picture, no signature. My crack handwriting analyst could do nothing to discern the content.

Rob reports that Buddy Ide is getting married this month. The wedding festivities are right out of Homer's Odyssey. Buddy's bachelor party will take place at his family's weekend cottage "on an island in northern Minnesota in the middle of nowhere." According to Rob, it takes a weekend just to get there. The wedding is set for the San Juan Islands off Seattle, Wash. Buddy, a dermatologist, is marrying an ER doctor.
