Harold. Hess writes that he and Grace attended the Class Officers Meetings in Hanover and had a very pleasant time. While there they phoned the Bergengrens and found Roy greatly improved, out and around. In fact, Roy intended to attend a Credit Union meeting in Connecticut late in May. Harold and Grace expected to be in Hanover for Commencement.

Buck Lewers and Gink Ford have had a couple of reunions. Gink has been touring the country with his Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo, including a orte-night stand in Hanover. Gink has been working on the Ford family history in the theater. His book is now on sale by Library Publishers, 8 West 40th St., New York 18, N. Y.

Congratulations to Boz French for his work on the Alumni Fund. He is well over his quota. Dr. Gregory Abdian has a new address: 20536 Westmoreland St., Detroit, Mich. A new address for C. F. Morrison is 21 Wendell St., Cambridge, Mass.

Aggie Smith sends a clipping from Binghamton Press announcing the engagement of Miss Martha Smith to Robert F. Lowell of San Francisco. Miss Smith, a graduate of Cornell, is a publicity writer for Television Station KPIX in San Francisco. An October wedding is planned. Miss Smith is the younger daughter of the A. E. Smiths.

The Rocky Mountain News has an account about Billy Grant, with picture. It is a somewhat facetious account. It says Billy commits writers' mortal sin because, after writing two books, he has quit because he has nothing more to say.

Dr. Lewis H. Haney received a citation at the annual dinner of New York University Graduate School of Business Alumni Association. He is professor emeritus of the N.Y.U. School.

Buck Lewers had another bout in the hospital, this time for surgery. He is out and around now. The Kenersons, the M. R.Browns and the Charlie Halls were guests at the Hanover Inn at various times during the summer.

Orvil W. Smith of Wakefield, Mass., died August 27 at his summer home on Ragged Mountain, Andover, N. H. "0.W." was one of the class standbys. Always present at reunions and other class activities, he will be greatly missed. Our sympathy goes out to Amy Smith. A memorial item will appear in the In Memoriam section.
