CLASS REUNION JUNE 17, 18 AND 19

Eight years ago Bob Davis wrote his first Kid's Stories. They were based upon some bedtime stories he used to tell his children of a marvelous Professor Pig. Recently Bob has expanded these tales into a small book under the name of Padre Porko (Holiday House). Recently another book has come from his pen, Partners of Powder Hole, illustrated by pen and ink sketches by his son Marshall Davis. This is a story of Cape Cod dunes, a Cape fisherman and the boy Sam. It is spoken of as a book of unusual charm which young readers enjoy and parents as well.

Harry Watson of Keene, N. H., writes in a happy vein that all is well with him. Edith is back again on the road to good health and his son William Jr. '38 is doing a fine job as junior partner in the William H. Watson law office.

Lester Williams of Carmel, Calif, is enjoying his retirement from educational work. He spends his energies in the garden raising vegetables, berries and flowers. With the aid of his wife he writes a vegetable garden column for the weekly paper and during the past year has revised his textbook "Secondary Schools for American Youth". He has been on the School Board of Carmel for the past three years. A survey of his energy producing powers should point him to the 45th year reunion on June 17.

In educational efforts Harold Scuclder is still going strong. With a full teaching schedule and writing of professional articles he is more than busy and is not especially attracted to the idea of retirement at the close of the year. His son, a graduate of New Hampshire University, returned from the war and entered the U. S. Forestry Service in Virginia, and is now working for an advanced degree at the Harvard School of Forestry at Petersham, Mass. For several years Harold has been interested in photography and now has taken up book binding, showing sufficient proficiency so that he is binding books for the University Library.

Dr. Otis P. Mudge of Amesbury, Mass., spent the month of November in Havana, Cuba with his son Edwin '34 where he had a fine recuperative period before returning to his busy practice in Amesbury.

Clayton Erwin is continuing his work as Superintendent of the Essex-Caledonia School Union District which lies just east of St. Johnsbury, Vt. He is most happy in his work and, I might add, is looking forward to the Reunion on June 17.

Thomas S. Brown M. D. has recently relocated to South Burlington, Vt. from Middlebury. Street address, 7 Mayfair St. In 1944 he retired as Supt. of the Mary Fletcher Hospital at Burlington. He .is still a trustee and greatly interested in the future building of a new hospital building.

The Reunion Committee is already at work on plans for the best reunion yet. You will help a lot if you will write your secretary and tell him that you are planning to be present.

DICTAPHONE PREXY: C. Kingsley Woodbridge '04, who was recently elected top executive of Dictaphone Corp., a job he held before, 21 years ago.

Secretary, 198 Humphrey St., Marblehead, Mass.

Treasurer, 85 John St., New York 7, N. Y.

Class Agent, 20 Salina St., Apt. 4, Delray Beach, Fla.
