The annual Cornell-Dartmouth joint football luncheon on November 12 had to be cancelled at the last minute this year but it certainly was not the fault of our own alumni group. Cornell had very few reservations and then it was discovered that we were the only club in the country asking for a Western Union report of the game. This made the cost prohibitive but it is good to know that our early reservations showed that our turnout would have been excellent.
The annual undergraduate luncheon will be held sometime between Christmas and New Year's. Exact date and time will be mailed to all Wisconsin alumni soon. On Thursday December 29 that week, it's Dartmouth vs. Northwestern in basketball at Evanston and information on a possible excursion will be sent out, too.
President Dickey will be in Milwaukee on January 23, and several events are now in the planning stage, but all alumni will certainly be invited to hear him speak. Details will be in the next issue of the ALUMNI MAGAZINE and also in the mail to all alumni in the state.
Enrollment activities are moving at a fast pace, and with the committee members working in most of the state's major cities and towns, the number of '6os from Wisconsin should be tremendous. Any men in the state who are interested in working on this activity and have not as yet been contacted, please drop your secretary a note to that effect.
John Lotter '50, our treasurer, says that our coffers are again low so that annual dues bills will be out shortly. The money has been spent wisely and a financial report with the notices will prove the need for everyone's participa- tion.
Secretary, 502 E. Spooner Rd., Milwaukee 17, Wise.
