The month of April served to welcome two more of our younger members to the advanced age of 90. Ken Clark and Harold Burtt gained this distinction on April 3 and 26, respectively. With Walter Gibson becoming so honored on May 5 and your secretary on July 11, all surviving members will classify as nonagenarians. As far as known, Ken Clark is the only classmate able to rebuff retirement and still pursue an active career. Carl Hope, our senior member, became 93 on May 5.

A new address has been recorded for Mrs.Russell D. Smith (widow of William Curtis) at Carlton Towers, Apartment #322, 470 Third Street South, St. Petersburg, Fla. 33701.

A most welcome and interesting letter was received from Helen (Mrs. Fred H.) Harris in response to Don Cheney's appeal to widows for news. She wrote that she reads the ALUMNIMAGAZINE every month, especially the 1911 news. As a loyal fan of Dartmouth, she attends the Alumni College in the summer, keeps in close touch with the Outing Club, and belongs to the Friends of the Hopkins Center and attends many of the concerts. Helen is very in- volved in community activities and serves on numerous boards and committees relating to promoting and developing the Brattleboro area. Her 28-year-old daughter, a graduate of the University of Massachusetts, has renovated two old Brattleboro residences and lives in one of them. She has papered walls, painted, refinished floors, etc. herself. Although Mrs. Harris stated that she did not wish to be quoted in the ALUMNI MAGAZINE, we felt that to com- ply would defeat the purpose of her fine letter. We wish that more widows would follow her ex- ample and provide us with news as to their own and family activities.

In concluding our class notes for the present academic year, we send best wishes to all for the coming summer and say "so long" until next October.
