Milwaukee

Much has happened in the course of the last several months that will interest all Dartmouth men in Wisconsin. On January 27 a special meeting was held at the home of SteveStotzer, '36, president of our group. At that meeting Leon L. (Bud) Freeman '23, of Racine, was nominated as a candidate for representative on the Alumni Council from District IV. Bud was one of the founders of the Dartmouth Alumni Association of Wisconsin, and we know that he would represent us well on the Council.

The annual meeting of our Association will be held in the library of the University Club in Milwaukee at 6:30 on March 10, Tuesday. Our speaker will be Justin A. Stanley '33, vice president of the College. Everyone is urged strongly to attend this meeting and we particularly urge all alumni outside of the Milwaukee area to try to be there.

The support of all alumni is earnestly solicited for our Dartmouth Glee Club concert here in Milwaukee on April 8. The concert will be held at the Milwaukee University School auditorium that evening. The Club will arrive in Milwaukee the day before the concert and several radio and television appearances have been tentatively planned before the concert. Please be sure to attend the concert! Details of the plans will be mailed to all alumni in the state. Incidentally, if any Wisconsin area alumni have not been receiving notices and information at their correct address, drop the writer a card at the above address and we will correct our mailing list.

The nominating committee reports that it has completed its slate of officers for the next year. Here it is: Skip French '38, president; John Willets '40, vice president; JohnLotter '50, treasurer; and Bill Trump '46, secretary.
