The annual meeting of the Wisconsin Association was held on Tuesday evening, March 29, in the library of the University Club with Red Rolfe '31 the College's Director of Athletics as our speaker. Red's talk brought us all up to date on the athletic picture at the College and he presented quite an optimistic view of the future of Dartmouth College on the athletic field. The publicity accompanying his visit was very extensive, with several stories in both of the Milwaukee papers, plus radio and television appearances. Most of this activity followed a press and radio luncheon at the Milwaukee Press Club where Red was given the very distinct honor of signing a plaque to add to the club's nationally known collection. His name is now included with such greats as Teddy Roosevelt, William Jennings Bryan and Gypsy Rose Lee.

The election of officers was conducted in the traditional democratic method, with the entire slate chosen by the nominating committee being unanimously elected. These include Don Gates '42, president; Bob Ott '43, vice president; John Lotter '50, treasurer; and BillTrump '46, secretary. The announcement of Bud Freeman's ('23) reelection to the Alumni Council was also made. The treasurer also reported that we leave a few (very few) dollars in the treasury.

The principal report was that of the enrollment committee chairman, Bob Ott '43. He said that the number of outstanding candidates for the Class of 1959 from Wisconsin is the largest we have ever had and that after acceptances are announced, the true results of the year's program will be known. Bob emphasized that the enrollment committee's work was very concentrated, in about ten Milwaukee schools during the past year, since it was the first year of operation for the new program. Next year the balance of the Milwaukee high schools and all high schools throughout the state will be contacted - an activity that will call for the aid of at least one alumnus in every town in Wisconsin.

Plans for the near future include a baseball outing, the golf outing, and of course, the annual picnic in August. Notices will be sent for all activities as usual.

Secretary, 502 E. Spooner Rd., Milwaukee 17, Wise.
