With our first visit with football Coach Bob Blackman now in the record books as a success, the group is focussing on the final two events of the year. The closeout sessions to be sure, but two of our most important operations.

First is our annual reception for the newly accepted freshmen - the men of '60. This meeting, to which all the new men from the North Jersey community and their parents are invited, will take place Thursday evening, May 17, at the Suburban Hotel in East Orange. Acting Dean Art Kiendl '44 will be on hand from Hanover to give a preview of the college life to come. Movies of the College are also a feature and the forthcoming frosh and mothers and dads can get a further looksee at the future alma mater by asking as many questions as they wish of the Association board members and enrollment and interviewing men present for that purpose.

The last item on the calendar is the picnic and outing where desk-ridden alumni get an annual chance to work out on the Softball diamond. This is a big affair for the wives and kiddies as well. The kid population, in fact, usually outnumbers that of the grownups to a marked degree. Tentative date set is Saturday, May 26, but complete details on time and place will be in the mail shortly.
