About 150 Dartmouth men and wives enjoyed a highly successful dinner-dance at the Agawam Hunt Club in East Providence on April 27. Don Taylor '43, our new Association president, headed up a committee that arranged the evening's entertainment, and their efforts paid off handsomely. Prior to this dance, Bill Coleman '45, had worked long and hard, pushing the sale of raffle tickets for the benefit of the Arthur Ruggles Scholarship Fund. The raffle enriched the Scholarship Fund by about $750 so far as can be determined now. The highlight of the dance was the drawing of the winner of a week's trip to Bermuda for two. Former president, Dick Holden '25, sold the winning ticket to Joseph Pratt of Woonsocket, R. I. The Pratt's are planning to take advantage of their good fortune, and will celebrate their thirtieth anniversary in Bermuda.

With this gala evening the Rhode Island Association's activities will simmer down somewhat, though a Summer cocktail party is again anticipated.
