Pausing momentarily in the hurly-burly o£ such sundry activities as getting rid of fall's fallen leaves, trying to escape putting up the storm windows, and trying to get ourselves and our ski equipment ready for the winter of the big snow, we can look back on a summer of real activity by the Dartmouth Alumni Association of Wisconsin. The big event was, of course, the picnic in August held once again out at the cabin owned by Johnny Willetts '40 and Buddy Luedke '34. A beautiful setting, beer, a semi-active baseball game, beer, frisbee, beer, good food and good drink, a giant bonfire, beer, the funnel game, and good fellowship all made for a very fine time. Earlier in the year we watched the Braves lose another one, an extra inning affair this time, to the Cards. In September we topped off a glorious day of hitting a golf ball around the warm and sunny slopes of the Port Washington Country Club with some of its justly famous iood. We can thank our new vice president and social chairman, Bill Randall '52, for this imposing array of events. And there's even more to come, kiddies. This year's undergraduate luncheon will be held at the Milwaukee University Club on December 29. We feel that this is the finest event we have each year. Try to make it.

Bill Trump '46 (502 East Spooner Road, Milwaukee) once again has his enrollment committee off to a prodigious start. We had thirteen Wisconsin boys who accepted their admissions to Dartmouth last year. With your help we can do even better this year. For, a successful enrollment program must, of course, depend on each and every alumnus in the state. A small committee can't begin to do an adequate job of covering the many high schools' in Wisconsin. Dartmouth must rely on each of us to seek out and interest the type of boy it wants. If you know of any such boys, please let Bill know about them promptly so that the proper information and applications can be gotten to them in time.

Don't forget the weekly luncheons each Wednesday at the Cudworth Post, 1756 N. Prospect Ave., Milwaukee.
