The University Club of Denver was the scene of the 63rd Annual Meeting of the Dartmouth Association of the Great Divide which was held on April 3.

After a pleasant cocktail hour and an excellent dinner the meeting was called to order by President Ned Grant '30. A review of the past year's activities was given by Secretary Hart D. Gilchrist '31; the treasurer's report was given by Howard Rea '38; and an interesting commentary on the Hopkins dinner was presented by Dr. T.D. Cunningham '13.

Donald C. McKinlay '37, chairman of the nominating committee, then proposed a slate of officers for the coming year. The slate was elected by unanimous ballot, and the new officers are: President, Dr. Calvin Fisher '32; Vice President, Morton McGinley '41; Secretary, Donald E. McMichael '53; Treasurer, Bob Cohen '51; and Assistant Secretary, SteveCowperthwaite '52.

Trustees of the Association were also elected to fill vacancies in that body. The new trustees are: Ed Hunter '55; Dr. Seymour Wheelock '40; Dr. Bill Wireman '43; and Ned Grant '30.

Business being concluded, Prof. John H. Wolfenden, the principal speaker of the evening, gave an extremely interesting and timely talk. His topic was "Science and the Liberal Arts," and his excellent presentation was greeted with great enthusiasm by the many alumni, wives, undergraduates, and friends of the college who had gathered for the meeting.

Mort McGinley '41, then accepted the presidency for Dr. Calvin Fisher '32, and paid tribute to the outgoing officers who have done such a magnificent job during the past year.

The meeting was then adjourned, and another year of successful activity of the Association was brought to a close.
