Greetings from the new Dartmouth Club of Bergen County. Thanks to a seed planted in the minds of many loyal Dartmouth men in Bergen County during the Capital Gifts Campaign and through the tireless efforts of many hard working alumni, our club blossomed at our first annual dinner last spring.

Mike McGean '49 represented the College at the dinner which was MC'd very ably by Chuck Bruder '28.

The following Indians were nominated and elected to serve as chiefs for the coming year. Stan Miner '22, President; Joe Hickman '48, Vice-President: Bill Parmer '42, Secretary; Phil Trowbridge '52, Treasurer.

The following braves were elected to the club's first Board of Trustees: Bob Allabough'34; Jim Cobb '53; Carl Frost '18; Bob Gluek'54; Dr. Irv Levitas '29; Al Miller '29; DonSisson '45; and Wood De Yoe '48.

We have started off our first fall program with a Send-Off Picnic for members of the Class of '63 and their parents. It was held at the home of Jim White '24 in Ridgewood on September 9 under the fine supervision of Stu Klapper '56 and his committee of Pete Kenyon '54 and Bill White '54.

For the future the club plans a get-together for the Princeton game, a Dinner Dance during the Christmas Holidays, hopefully a Glee Club Concert in the spring, the Annual Dinner Meeting in March and a Golf Tournament next summer.

Finally, all you Indians wandering around the wilds of Bergen County who would be interested in joining our tribe or anyone not receiving our smoke signals, please write our Secretary Bill Parmer '42, 184 West Clinton Avenue, Tenafiy, N. J.

Golfers Gene Howard '49 and Hunter Hicks '33 (center), who enabled Dartmouth to retain the Ivy League Golf Bowl in Chicago, are flanked left and right with Princetonians who took second in the annual tourney.

Secretary, 184 W. Clinton Ave., Tenafly, N. J.
