Gates Mills is a small village east of Cleveland closely resembling a New England town. On Saturday, September 26 four hundred and fifty Dartmouth men, wives and friends assembled at The Hunt Club for the Dartmouth Club of Cleveland's seventh annual "Tea Dance." Although this writer was unable to locate the "Tea" he did find Dartmouth fellowship abounding. Bill Ziegler 'SO and his committee of thirty couples (no wonder the dance was so large) did an unusually fine job of putting together one of our most successful dances.

The profits accruing from these Tea Dances are sent to Hanover annually to provide the Cleveland Club's scholarship fund. The major portion of our scholarship money has been raised by these dances and this year a profit of almost a thousand dollars will be added to our fund. This scholarship is currently being enjoyed by Tom King '62. As Dartmouth men, we are glad to consume quantities of "Tea" in order that we may continue to augment our scholarship fund.
