The usual contributors, Penny Aborn, Bill Hands and Ellsworth Buck were heard from, and if Charlie Batchelder had not unloaded, this report could be a blank.

Dick' Barlow has finally learned how to move. Ken Fuller was elected Chairman of the Board of Directors, New Jersey Bank & Trust Co. - Paterson, N. J. Ted and MarionMain will visit grandchild number eight for the holidays. Lize and Polly Wheelock are enough recovered from their six months m Florida to try nine in Hawaii. They will back on the Cape next June. Ed Elkins reports seven grandchildren and has returned from a trip including California, Arizona and Florida. Next hop to Africa where he will visit his daughter.

Two of Bill Hands' appointments are Freddie Davidson, reunion chairman, and GusFuller, Sunbird chairman, both excellent choices. It now looks as if Sunbird will challenge Snobird. Present plans call for a meeting near St. Petersburg, some time in Febiuary. I remind you again to send in your Florida residence and time planned fo shorts. Send this direct to Mart or me. He will probably want to wish you a Merry Xmas and this extra sheet in the Newsletter will find many customers.

Taxing memory, in addition to the fastgrowing Florida Colony, I can think of Batchelder, Grant, Kingman, Maddalena, Paul Smith, Hinman, Sisson, Spore, and Jenkins. There are many more. This Sunbird idea seems a good one. Let's see what you can do with it.

A pair of travellers: Page Junkins took off on September a, but schedules did not permit making the' wedding of Bill Washburn's daughter, Mary Elena, even though Rocky and Mary Flanders flew m on time. However, Page got there on October 17, and Bill and Jensie did their stuff for a week. He only gained six pounds. Another traveller jaunted to California for a look at his son's new home, then Disneyland, Phoenix, Grand Canyon, Missouri and home. The point of interest is that en route - by the way we are talking about Ken Grant - he was lucky to meet Dorothy Sisson, bound for Potsdam where Rufe spends a few months a year, has a home in Michigan, and when the weather gets cold, scurries to Florida. Rufe report a nice visit with Dutch Burnham.

Now let's talk about one of the best jobs that the class has ever done. You have made a man very, very happy. Charlie Batchelder can go to Florida any time now because your response for dues has been quite wonderful; and the best thing about it is that ever so many have the fiftieth uppermost in mind. Thank you all so much.

The next MAGAZINE notes might have something about history progress.

Enjoy your holidays.
