Freshman Teams

Space permits only a quick rundown on freshman results during the past month. The freshman basketball "A" team defeated Andover, but then lost in close games to Brown, Harvard and Yale for a five-four record to date. The frosh "B" team lost three games, two to Kimball Union Academy and one to Vermont Academy. Coach Eddie Jeremiah's freshman hockey team defeated New Hampshire, Vermont Academy, Kimball Union and Princeton while losing to St. Paul's School, Boston College and Harvard for an overall six-three record to date. The '62 swimmers defeated Springfield but lost to the Harvard freshmen for a two-two mark, while the track team remains undefeated as it edged Harvard and then took first place in a triangular meet against Cornell and Colgate. The freshman squash team lost to both Harvard and Yale and has yet to win a match in three outings. Dartmouth's freshman ski team, however, has looked impressive in winning all its meets to date.
