Coach Red Hoehn has covered the tennis team in fine fashion this month in his 'Coaches' Corner" report. However, in the most recent match against Princeton the Big Green was edged 5-4 in a very close match. Dartmouth still has a chance for third place as both the Indians and Tigers meet Cornell next week and the results will decide final standings.

Prior to the Princeton match, the Indians had recorded four successive wins as they triumphed over M.I.T. 9-0, Brown 7-2, Penn 5-4, and Williams 5-4. The losses to Harvard and Yale were expected, but the overall record of eleven wins and only four defeats is one of the best for some years. Contests remain with Amherst, Middlebury, Army, Colgate and Cornell, with Dartmouth expected to win most of these and improve its record even more. It has been a fine year on the courts for the Big Green and with some of the veterans returning and some help coming from the freshman team, Coach Red Hoehn can look forward to another good season in 1960.
