THE College in recent months has received six bequests totaling $76,000, as well as additions of over $44,000 on bequests received earlier. The largest bequest was $36,669, the bulk of the residual estate of Laura D. Lake, widow of George E. Lake '96. Under the will of Priscilla B. Wilkinson, widow of Ralph B. Wilkinson '23, the College has received $25,000 to establish the Ralph B. Wilkinson 1923 Memorial Scholarship Fund, the income to be used for assisting a worthy student from Andover, Mass. Other bequests are $5,000 from Frank E. Drew '97 of Maiden, Mass.; $5,000 (partial) from Benjamin M. Stout '11 of Chicago; $3,050 (partial) from Evart E. Puryear, an adopted member of 1918; and $1,312 from Mrs. Grace L. Burnham in memory of her step-father, Judge Alfred Wheat '89.

An additional and final payment from the estate of the late Prof. George L. Frost '21, in the amount of $42,265, has been added to the George L. Frost 1921 Fund.
