The Dartmouth Club of Bergen County is well into its second year of existence. Our latest gathering was a delightful cocktail and dinner party on Dartmouth Night, October 14, at the Chimes Restaurant in Paramus, N. J. Joe Hickman '54, our President, along with Pete Kenyon '54, Dick Grassey '54, Howy Pitts '53, Ed Senghas '47, Russ Sigler '30, Woody DeYoe '48, Dick Bugbee '43, Irv Levitas '29' and Gil Sykes '36, were the foundation to make this a most successful affair. A telegram, along with a toast were sent northward to Hanover.
We are now eagerly looking forward to the annual Smoker to be held Friday, November 18, the eve of the Dartmouth-Princeton game. A large group will meet at the Joe Jefferson Club on East Saddle River Road, Hohokus, N. J., at 8 p.m., together with several Princeton men. We sincerely hope this good fellowship with the group will be continued.
We want to congratulate Ralph Specht '35 on his recent appointment to our Board of Trustees.
Since our last appearance in these columns, we had a most successful picnic and swim at the Darlington Country Club estates in Ramsey, N. J. Dick Bugbee, Russ Sigler and his gang had a delightful program for the kids as well as for the adults.
