Club Officers Hold Meeting
December 1960

THE Dartmouth Club Officers Association held its annual fall weekend in Hanover and Woodstock, Vt., on November 3-5. Fifty-five presidents and secretaries from clubs in a dozen different states, from Maine to Texas, were in attendance, with travel honors going to Mr. and Mrs. Frank E. Davis '39 of Midland, Texas. Counting forty-four wives, the total group was the largest to attend the annual gathering.

Stanley P. Miner '22, president of the association, presided over the three-day program that opened Thursday evening with a reception and dinner at the Woodstock Inn, headquarters for most of those who were guests of the College. President Dickey was the main speaker that evening, when awards were made by J. Michael McGean '39, Associate Secretary of the College, to Fred F. Stockwell '43 of Mystic Valley, Mass., as club president of the year, and to Richard H. MacDonald '44 of Bridgeport, Conn., as club secretary of the year. Their citations appear with their respective class columns in this issue.

Three working sessions were held in the Sanborn House library on Friday morning and afternoon and Saturday morning. At the final meeting Barry C. Sullivan '36, president of the Dartmouth Club of Washington, D. C., was elected president of the Club Officers Association for 1960-61, and Russell C. Dilks '51, secretary of the Philadelphia club, was named vice-president. Mr. McGean was reelected secretary, and to serve with these three officers on the executive committee the association elected Louis V. Wilcox '23, president of the Tri-County Dartmouth Club of New Jersey and Fred F. Stockwell '43, Mystic Valley president.
