The Big Green turned out in force on Wednesday, December 30 at the Hotel Manger for the Cleveland Club's annual Christmas Luncheon. Two hundred and seventy-five applicants, fathers, alumni and undergraduates enjoyed the ever welcome remarks of Professor Al Foley '20. So moving were Al's words of the college, "The Changing Yet Unchanged Dartmouth," that this writer heard four fathers of applicants, none of them Dartmouth men, come up to the speakers' table and tell Professor Foley that his words, coupled with the spirit shown at the luncheon, made them wish they had gone to Dartmouth and become part of the Dartmouth spirit. We hope their dreams may become fulfilled through their sons.

Nick Stowe '62 spoke as an undergraduate describing to the applicants his conception of the Dartmouth scene. Nick's remarks were very well made and warmly received. Club President Warren Crumbine '37 introduced the speakers and ran the program. Incidentally, Sandy Mills '38 was overheard declaring that, because it seemed to lack dignity, he would refrain during 1960 from calling our Club President "Crump" and would concentrate on "Crummy." Ned Petrequin '50 made the arrangements for our party, and we thank him for the grand job.

Our most immediate future planning concerns the Glee Club which will visit Cleveland on Sunday, March 20. Fritz Harrell '53 will be chairman of the concert.

The Dartmouth Night meeting of the Tokyo Club was the most successful in many years.
