Announcement is made of the engagement of Miss Annis Vilas to Henry J. Pratt. The future bridegroom received a Master's degree in public administration from the University of Michigan and is working for his Ph.D. at Columbia University.
Tom Kuhns, M.D., is with the 2nd Medical (Cornell) Division, Bellevue Hospital, N.Y. Rev. John H. Petter, USN, is a Chaplain, U. S. Naval Training Center, RTC, San Diego, Calif.
Tom Bechler is a methods analyst, Minneapolis-Honeywell Regulator Company. Frank X. Dineen is a student at Yale Law School. Dick Foster, also, continues his law studies at University of Michigan Law School.
Rog Griffin is with the sales force of Vegetable Oil Division, Cargill, Inc., Minneapolis, Minn.
Bob Leighty is a Psychiatric Social Work Specialist with Mental Hygiene Clinic, Ft. Jackson, S. C. Alan Tomson is with International Business Machines, Kansas City, Mo. Ed Winters is business office manager, Bell Telephone of Penna., Bristol, Penna. And John Rosenberger is a student at McGiil Medical School, Montreal, Quebec.
In the wee hours of January 26, Brigitte Juliette Wolf was born to Bob and the proud Mrs. The new dad continues his work as copywriter at J. Walter Thompson Company.
Bob McCausland, associated with the First National Bank of Jersey City, N.J., has been promoted to assistant cashier. Bob, who continues as new business officer at the West New York office, joined the bank in 1958 from the Hanover Bank of New York. He finds time for Rotary and the North Jersey Manufacturers Association, and from his residential headquarters in Greenwich Village come reports that he is thoroughly enjoying his bachelor existence.
Jack Billhardt, come May, will be leaving the Air Force and joining Smith, Barrey and Company, in New York City. Jack, the Mrs., and two kids, will be living at Dulan Drive, Stamford, Conn., and would like to hear from any and all '56s working or living in the Vicinity.
The marriage of Miss Maryann Gooley and Bill Burke took place December 28. At present, Bill is a senior at the State University of New York College of Medicine.
Howard Webber assumed the editorial duties of the University of North Carolina Press. Howard has taught and studied at Lehigh University, where he was associate editor of a monthly magazine, "Quintain."
A June wedding is planned for Miss Beverly Jones and Ed Abt. Ed is employed by the IBM Corporation' in Concord, N. H.
Recently, Miss Leana Lanning and Lt. Pete Fay became Mr. and Mrs. The couple took a wedding trip through Austria, Switzerland, and Bavaria, Germany.
An early summer wedding is planned for Anne Weir and Roger Benson. The groom-tobe is now attending the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration.
Bill Behrens is now taking graduate studies concerning law at S.M.U. Dave Losfoy is a field representative for IBM Corporation, Baltimore, Md. George Robison is a management trainee with Blue Bell, Inc., Greensboro, N. C.
Bruce and Doris Holt are aglow over their February 26 addition, Barbara Lynn.
