The annual meeting of the Boston Association was held at the Hotel Statler on Wednesday, February 10. Some 450 alumni and their wives were in attendance to hear talks by Ken DeHaven '61, Captain-elect of Football; James Foch, an undergraduate campus leader; and George Champion '26, President of the Chase Manhattan Bank, who together with President Dickey was the featured speaker. In honor of their visiting classmate from New York, the Class of 1926 took the attendance cup annually awarded, thereby breaking the almost exclusive ownership of that honor held by the Class of 1923.
Bill Cusack '27, retiring President, presided and summed up the activities of the year which included Open House for prospective freshmen and a Dartmouth Night at the Pops, both held in May; an appreciation luncheon to the entire coaching staff of the College held in June, which was a highly successful innovation, as have been the informal luncheon meetings held in the Re- vere Room at the Parker House every Thursday at 12:30.
