The 98th Annual Meeting of the Dartmouth Alumni Association of Boston was held at the Harvard Club of Boston beneath an imposing portrait of President Nathan Pusey of Harvard on Thursday, February 1, 1962. The meeting was chaired by WilburW. Bullen '22, President of the Association. 380 alumni were present. Highlights of the evening were the presentation of a Wentworth Bowl to Joshua B. Clark '11, one of this area's most active and loyal alumni, and the exposition of different points of view by President Dickey and William H. King Jr. '63, captain-elect of the football team, with regard to the objectives and success of the current admissions policy. The Injunaires provided their usual excellent entertainment. Among the distinguished guests were HarveyP. Hood '18, Senior Trustee of the College, Frank L. Harrington '24, making his debut as a life trustee of the College and ElwoodH. Fisher '21, President of the Alumm Council, who came from Shaker Heights, Ohio, to bestow the Wentworth Bowl on Josh Clark.

Bill Bullen '22, the retiring President, received the accolades of his class who turned out seventeen strong, thereby capturing the Annual Attendance Cup from the Class of 1923, who heretofore have had virtually an unbreakable grip on it. The Executive Committee of the Association as a token of warm regard and in recognition of his devoted loyalty and work for the College, gave him a Dartmouth blazer.

The consensus seemed to be that the location of the Harvard Club solved many of the problems of the Annual Meeting, with a happy increase in the number attending. We are most grateful for the use of the hall and for the center piece adorning the head table donated by the Harvard Club, which curiously was an array of bright red chrysanthemums.

Officers elected for the ensuing year are: President, John B. Kenerson '28; Vice Presidents, Lester R. Godwin '30, Gordon K.Wentworth '40, Esmond R. Crowley Jr. '41; Secretary, Richard D. Leggat '48; Assistant Secretary, John W. Williamson '42; Treasurer, John S. Sullivan '36; Members-at-large, Richard Barnard '30, William J. Breed '52, Ralph B. Fifield Jr. '46, Philip H. See Jr. '50.

In addition to the foregoing, the president and one elected designee of the Associated Clubs and the National Enrollment Chairmen for this area comprise the Executive Committee.

Prospective plans for the Association include the Dartmouth Night at the Pops in May and an Annual Open House for Prospective Freshmen, also in May.

Thursday luncheons at the Revere Room at the Parker House still continue. The time is 12:30. It is hoped that alumni in the area will take the opportunity to attend when they can.

Nearly 400 alumni attended the annual Boston dinner at the Harvard Club February 1
