We started off last spring with three new officers and a new enrollment chairman. By the end ol the year, however, one good secretary and one fine enrollment chairman had been lost. Pete Henderson '51 (secretary) and his new bride had been transferred to Cleveland and Al Riegelman '52 (enrollment chairman) and his family are now safely ensconced in Detroit. While it is always a pleasure to have the tremendous abilities of our officers recognized in the business world, we suspect that henceforth it may, perhaps, be prudent to select only from amongst the down and out and pass over the up and going. In any event, thanks go to Pete and Al for all they did in their brief tenures in office.

We must confess that we missed the Christmas luncheon - all because of a wild idea that it would be fun to go out to see a Rose Bowl game. We understand, however, that it was the best luncheon in a good number of years. It went off like clockwork (a rarity, indeed) and all reports indicate that an exceptionally good time was had by one and all- the alumni, the undergraduates, and the applicants. The party, held out at the Moonbi Inn last fall, was better received than could have been hoped for and will, there fore, be repeated this year. Nobody seems to have remembered too much more about the reception held in December for GovernorNelson A. Rockefeller '30 than that it was a real smash. We were most appreciative of Governor Rockefeller's visit and are sure that his decision not to enter the race for the Presidential nomination could only have been in spite of our reception and not because of it. He made a very fine impression on all who were able to attend.

With the departure of Al Riegelman '52, Bill Trump '46 (9210 N. Regent Rd., Milwaukee 17) has once again taken over as enrollment chairman. Through the efforts of Al and Bill and many hard-working alumni throughout the state, Dartmouth has an extremely outstanding group of Wisconsin applicants this year. And, inasmuch as no enrollment program can be carried on successfully by only a small committee, we ear- nestly hope that each alumnus is ever on the lookout for boys who should be interested in Dartmouth. When you find one, just let Bill know so that the proper information and applications can be gotten to him in time.

Secretary, 4205 N. Olsen Ave., Milwaukee 11, Wis.
