The Dartmouth group of the Genesee Valley area starts another year with a new slate of officers. They are: President, BobSchoonmaker '42; Vice-president, John Greisberger'46; Secretary, Henry Williams Jr.'52; Treasurer, Bob Van Reypen '47; Assistant Treasurer, Al Karcher '51. Board of Directors: Phil Hahn '46; Lee Sturman '30;Ed Kidd '54; Carl Shineman '33; Bob Long'27; Joe Kepes '46; and Jack Carey '49. As usual, these officers were elected at the Annual Dinner held May 1. (Ort Hicks '21, who came from Hanover for our dinner, had some interesting, informal words for us.) Three valuable officers of the Club bowed out at the dinner: Phil Hahn, as President; Ed Kidd as Treasurer, after several years, and John Greisberger, after many years of valuable service as Secretary. All were pressed back into service, however, in other capacities.

The final fling of the 1960-61 year was the annual picnic at the home of Bill andPat Brandt '43 in Penfield on July 1. Aside from a collision between two of our number in a hardy athletic contest, the picnic was uneventful, but fun, and Bill and Pat once more proved their heroism.

Jack Carey '49 appeared last spring with the Rochester Community Players in "Marriage Go 'Round" as the protagonist. The play was very successful and enjoyed the longest run of any Community Players production in its more than thirty-year history.

During the summer, there have been a number of removals and arrivals. The Club will miss the service of Jack McCurdy '49. Jack, who headed the Club's Scholarship Fund Committee, is now in the furniture business in Vermont. We will also miss CalBrown '48 who has helped in our enrollment activities. Cal has gone to Worcester, Mass. Dr. James F. Morrisey '55 has gone to Yonkers and Edgar R. Miller '51 has gone to Delaware. Recent arrivals include Dr. William H. Thomas '52, John Durkin '58, William Uptegrove '42, Peter Lauterbach '56, Alfred S. Mueller '58, and Dr.Robert P. Timothy '58.
