"Dartmouth Night" was celebrated by our Club for the second year in a row with a most successful buffet dinner and film showing at the University Club. The turn out was excellent: over fifteen alumni and their wives. Besides the "old regulars" .headed by our Chairman "Dan" Daniell '24 et al., there were some welcomed new faces, among them: Budd Schulberg '36, PhilBrooks '42, Charlie Fisher '32, Dick Black'29, Jim Schipper '35 and their respective "senoras" and even a Princeton "parachutist" by name of Scott. The latter thought our group was a good example to follow in getting ex-Tigers organized in Old Tenochtitlan.
After dinner, Bob Macauley '24, showed his color documentary film made while in Thailand "This is our Heritage," which won several prizes at the Edinburgh Film Festival. Your secretary showed the UN's "Overture" which has also won several international prizes. Summing up, a most pleasant . . . and informative evening.
