D.O.C. of No. Calif.

The annual meeting of the Dartmouth Outing Club of Northern California was held Saturday, July 13, at Paradise Park, Tiburon, Marin County, Calif. It was a beautiful day in a very pleasant spot. In attendance and enjoying their picnic lunches were 46 persons, including thirteen alumni and one member of the Class of 1961, FredBaumann (Walt Baumann '25). Jim Wilbee '42 and Tavey Taylor '28, with John Taylor and a friend, arrived in Jim's boat from Sausalito. Mary Wilbee and Louise Taylor shepherded the rest of the crew via the more familiar perils of the highway. The Klees ('34) came from Sacramento and the Benders ('31) from Stockton.

At the meeting eight Directors for the coming year were chosen, they in turn elected the officers from among their members. President, Tavey Taylor '28; Vice President, Ed McCrum '45; Secretary, Bob Allen'33; Treasurer, Carl Ward '32; Asst. Treasurer, Jack Garfein '21; Director, Al Grant '43; Director, Don Tenney '40; Director, Ed Klee '34.

Work parties have visited the cabin regularly, doing the necessary routine work such as cleaning up and cutting firewood in addition to this year's major project, the installation of a water supply. We hope that two more trips will accomplish this aim and possibly see the completion of the second floor, for which materials have been ordered.
