. Roaring Rochester, Hobe Rockwell writes, is slowing him down a little bit, but he reports that all is quite well with five daughters and bride. He has been heading the upstate office of Connecticut General, which he hopes to forsake soon for a non-administrative post as an agent.
In his note, Hobe recalls the days when he and Reno warmed the basketball bench a little for Dolly Stark. There was the Columbia game when Reno tied the score in the final minute ... and the Green went on to win. Reno, says Rockwell, could hardly wait for the New York papers to hit the street the next morning to see what a hero he had been. The papers gave Rockwell all the credit although he had never left the bench. "It seems that Bob and I had gotten our jerseys mixed up, and Reno was wearing my number," Rock writes. "Bob has never forgiven me for this, but I keep telling him that he should be proud of wearing such a distinguished number; and think of the magnanimous thing he had done for me and my prestige with the folks back home. Somehow, I was never quite able to sell this idea to Reno, but I'm going to keep trying. And, of course, I keep working on it, because I do not want him to forget about such a generous act. You know, it's not often a fellow gets an opportunity to do something nice like that. After all, he did play his heart out that night. Probably the best game he ever played. I was real proud of him."
The College has asked us to keep the copy down for this month's issue as they need the space for a special program. So, just a quick runaround:

This is it for now. Have more in the shoe box, and will look for you in May.
