Mr. Hennessey has been appointed associate dean of Tuck School effective September 1, 1962. The appointment is for the academic year only and his duties will be primarily within the areas of objectives, policies, special programs, curriculum planning, faculty appointments, and to act for the Dean in his absence.
The board of trustees and the administration of Mary Hitchcock Memorial Hospital, Hanover, have granted permission to five senior members of the Tuck School faculty to use the hospital as a field site for research in various aspects of organizational and administrative behavior. Messrs. Broehl, Guest,Hennessey, Moss and Olsen will participate in the project, over a scheduled period of two years.
Mr. Quinn was co-chairman of two meetings in New York City, January 16-17 and February 13-14. The meetings were held by the Industrial Research Institute on the subject of "Relationship Between Marketing and Scientific Research in Industry." His article "Top Management Guides to Research panning" is included in a book "Technological. Planning" published by the Harvard Business School, February 1962.

Herb Bissell '29 has been appointed vice president for corporate marketing of the Minneapolis-Honeywell Regulator Co.
Al Clow T'31, vice president for marketing of the American Cyanamid Co., has "been elected a director of the company.
Charlie Brown T'33 has been appointed director of manufacturing for Surprenant Manufacturing Co., a subsidiary of International Telephone and Telegraph Corp.
Jim McFarland T'34 has been promoted by General Mills to the position of vice president for consumer products.
Alumni enrollment committees have now been established in Chicago and Minneapolis, in addition to New York and Boston. The annual meeting of the Tuck School Association of Boston will be held April 11, and on April 24 for the Tuck School Asso- ciation of New York.
